Detective Thomas Cooper grew up in a town a few miles north of Willton, named Aston. He’d always heard ghost stories about the town, though he brushed those off. There were no ghosts. Besides, no local had ever verified the stories -- it had always been the kids at his own town to tell him. Well, no local was ever really known to leave Willton, either. And if they did, they went far, far away.

Due to the size of the small town, and it’s proximity in the county, it was under their jurisdiction. So, when reports came in of people going missing in a town where the population was already dwindling, he was sent to check it out.

“Excuse me,” he cleared his throat, shutting the door to his vehicle. He held out his badge, though it really didn’t matter. His outfit stuck out enough to see he was a cop. “Detective Cooper, APD. Do you know anything about the disappearances?”
