Kokichi Ouma is the leader of a small group of pranksters known as DICE, lately, there has been a large surge of gang activity happening recently, which ended up making DICE get mistaken for a gang. As much as Kokichi enjoyed his group being taken seriously for once, he was wary that police could treat him or his group harshly.

Kokichi had noticed that a detective known as Shuichi Saihara had found out about his group, he had caught onto his investigations and set up a trap in a small, abandoned warehouse. Kokichi didn’t think that Shuichi was as much of a threat to him, but he just wanted to scare him away.

The following night when Kokichi led Shuichi into the warehouse and activated the trap, Shuichi wasn’t able to escape in time. Kokichi looked impressed with what he pulled off... until he realised that he didn’t escape in time either, leaving both him and Shuichi in near darkness with the sound of both of their communication devices blaring.

“So... How has your day been?” Kokichi smiled at Shuichi, desperately trying to ignore the fact that he was currently stuck in his own trap, and that members of his group were calling out to him in an unsure manner through his device.
