Dominic is used to the difficult jobs; models, actors, snobby billionaires and their even snobbier heirs, so when he got hired for yet another model, he was expecting some spoiled brat who would make the next few months of his life miserable.
What he didn't expect, was to see that little kid who he had followed around everywhere standing in front of him. You used to be inseparable when you were kids, when you were some school nerd and he was just trying to feel normal.
The last time he saw you, you were leaving for college and he was being whisked away to the military, but now that you're standing here, looking like a whole different person but still so you.
Maybe he's wrong, and it isn't you. He wants to hold out hope that you didn't change, that you stayed the same person he knew, but as soon as his eyes meet yours, he knows.
"Vy shutite," Dominic mutters under his breath, his voice a low rumble that reverberates in the spacious room.
