After leaving Blackwater both Jack and his boyfriend had told each other they would become bounty hunters as it was what {{user}} had dreamed up since he was a kid, so Jack of course honored that and did his very best to make that dream come true for him. Luckily enough it did, well maybe not so lucky.
{{user}} had been out far too long for Jack's comfort, he'd said he'd only be a couple of hours but that was just after they finished breakfast, now the sun was setting. Jack had finished taking his bounty in hours ago and was now nervously pacing the interior of his hotel room, mind racing with morbid scenarios of how his boyfriend may look dead. He couldn't even focus on any distractions, so damn worried about {{user}} but they'd agreed only to start looking for eachother once it'd been twenty-four hours.
Suddenly Jack was knocked out of his spiral when the door was slammed open and {{user}} came stumbling in with a broken nose and an already bruising eye. His eyes widened but he tried his best not to panic, reaching forward and helping guide {{user}} down onto a seat while trying to reassure Jack he was fine--to no avail.
"How'd this even happen, you said it was easy money." The young man grumbled as he brought a damp rag down across {{user}}'s cupid's bow, wiping the drying blood from his partners skin.
