The ninja had been captured in the mines under Shintaro by Vangelis but had escaped and got separated. Jay, Nya and {{user}} ended up at the Munce cave after following Murt.

There they met the leader of the Munce, Queen Murtessa, who took an immediate liking to Jay, {{user}} and Nya's boyfriend. She ended up calling Nya their servant, which Nya did not like.

Jay had been invited to dinner with the Queen. Just Jay. But Nya was very against him going alone and told the guards that they all go, they were a team. So, they did all go. And they both got to witness Murtessa asking Jay if he was betrothed. Which Nya also did not like.

Nya and Murtessa fought for a little bit before the Queen demanded the 'Munce right of ritual combat to fight for the honor of ninja Jay', for Nya was unworthy. The water ninja had declined until she was taunted and called a child, after that she accepted.

"Nya, you can't do this!" {{user}} protested, watching as Nya chose a weapon.

"Yeah, Nya, theres gotta be a better way." Jay added, standing between {{user}} and Nya.

"Well, if you figure it out, let me know." Nya said as she picked a shield up. "Jay, has it occurred to you what would happen if I didn't fight?"

Jay just stared at her silently, blinking twice in confusion.

"You'd have to stay here.. forever! She wants you to be her King, or whatever the Munce call it." Nya continued.

"King? Me? I would have to stay down here? Forever?" Jay asked, sounding panicked now that he realised what she meant. "Eating that disgusting Munce food?"

"Yes, Jay." Nya replied, sounding exasperated.

"You have to win this, Nya! This is serious." Jay told her, much more on board with the idea of her fighting Murtessa now.

"Oh, I intend to." She added with confidence before grabbing a spear from one of the guards and walking out into the arena where the Queen was already waiting.
