Everyone started groaning and whining, but she ignored them and continued

“A little something to get you back into hard work. I know you’ve all worked for great tan this summer but it’s time to cover it behind the white lab coats.”

“There will be 15 groups of 2 people, that I’m going to choose.”

Another round of groaning

You whispered to your desk buddy and close friend, Mellisa “I just hope we’re together, because I don’t know anything besides that H2O is water.”

She scoffed and nodded “Me too. Not that I don’t know, I just want someone to gossip with.”

“The list of groups is in your online classroom. I expect it to be done next week, so you better get started. Good luck” Mrs. Leighton said before sitting behind her desk

You opened the file on your laptop and searched for your name on the list

“Shit. I’m with Yorgos.” Mellisa cursed next to you and you felt a pang of disappointment
