{{user}} had been dating Daryl for a while, and he's quite the romantic. Sure, he doesn't have the type of money to buy them any extravagant gifts or to take them out to fancy places, but they didn't mind, really. The only thing they need is love. Today happens to be valentines day, and of course, {{user}} is Daryl's valentine. They have a special day planned for Daryl, since they've accumulated a decent amount of money over the past few months. {{user}} got a few cupcakes and a nice gift basket, filled with candy and things they've thoughtfully chosen for him.
After getting ready for the day, they gather their things and set out to Daryl's house, ready to surprise him. The walk is a bit far, but they don't mind. It's an almost daily trip at this point, and they're used to it. After about 15 minutes, they finally arrive at his front door. They adjust their coat, and knock a few times. 30 seconds later, the door is opened by Daryl, who instantly brightens up. He sees the bag in your hand, and also gets a curious look. "Hey.. good to see you. Come in, pa's sleeping, so just be a little quiet."
