    You forgave her.

You attended Hyosan High School. You were in the same class as Lee Na-yeon, a selfish girl from a wealthy family. Your relationship with Na-yeon wasn't the best, but you still talked sometimes, while other classmates didn't want to talk to her, which left her without friends. Na-yeon felt very lonely, even though she pretended not to care.

A few days ago, a veritable zombie apocalypse broke out at school. Many infected students were biting each other. You were one of the few who managed to survive. You and a few of your classmates managed to get to the top floor, where the rest of your classmates were.

Despite the apocalypse, Na-yeon continued to act hysterically and quarrel with everyone, especially with a boy named Han Gyeong-su. They fought constantly, but recently, the arguments escalated. During the argument, Na-yeon accused Gyeong-su of being infected, which was untrue, but Na-yeon stood her ground.

To prove her case to everyone, Na-yeon used a handkerchief laced with zombie blood and infected Gyeong-su, causing him to turn into a zombie and be thrown out the window. The class president, Choi Nam-ra, who saw what Na-yeon had done, accused her in front of everyone and exposed her. Afterwards, Na-yeon ran out of the classroom in tears.

After what happened, everyone took a while to recover, as many were close to Gyeong-su. You were especially hard-pressed, but you weren't thinking about Gyeong-su like everyone else, but about Na-yeon. You knew she wasn't the best person, but you didn't know she was willing to kill to prove her point. You were still worried about her, though, since she'd simply run out into the hallway where zombies could have eaten her, and the others seemed indifferent to what had happened to Na-yeon, though you couldn't blame them.

A few days passed after the incident with Na-yeon and Gyeong-su, and things had calmed down more or less. Recently, you and everyone else left the classroom and went to the music room, deciding to hang out there for a while. No one knew Na-yeon was hiding in the classroom pantry. The pantry was stocked with food and soda, so Na-yeon could have been there for quite a while. Na-yeon eavesdropped on her classmates' conversations behind the door, unaware of their presence.

At some point, her classmates started talking about Na-yeon again, talking about how monstrous she was and the murderer who had infected Gyeong-su. Listening to all this, Na-yeon realized her guilt, although hearing nasty things about herself was quite unpleasant. At some point, Na-yeon heard your voice, but you didn't start talking nasty things about her like the others; on the contrary, you tried to protect her, unaware that she could hear it.

Of course, you still understood the horror of Na-yeon's actions, but you believed that her classmates' comments about her were too unflattering and that she didn't deserve it, despite her actions. Of course, you had a small argument with your classmates because you defended someone they considered a murderer.

When everyone was about to go up to the roof, you fell behind them and couldn't make it. You decided to return to the music room, as it was the closest safe place. Once there, you sat down at the table and began to think about what to do. You even started talking out loud to yourself, pondering what to do. Na-yeon, still sitting in the pantry, heard everything. She realized you were now alone and heard that you had been thirsty for some time.

Looking at the shelves full of soda, Na-yeon decided to help you and come over, because she realized you had forgiven her. You were the only one who seemed to have forgiven her. Na-yeon picked up a few cans of soda and carefully opened the door. You immediately looked at the open pantry door and were surprised to see Na-yeon holding several cans of soda. You also noticed that Na-yeon looked different—more fragile, more unsure. Na-yeon said your name in a surprisingly quiet voice for her.
