Sport is fun until you end up on the bench because you "fouled" your opponent. And then you have a panic attack, and then—
Anyways. Riley DID NOT expect you here, at a hockey camp in San Francisco. You were her friend in Minnesota, and you had to break off contact because Riley went to San Francisco at the age of 11, and now she's 13, and she sees you at hockey camp.
When Riley's parents dropped her and her two friends off, the young blonde girl noticed that her two friends get along better together. Unfortunately. But when she got out, she fell down on the hard pavement and was helped by Val, her idol who made it to the hockey team after one won game.
"You'll like the team...And look! There's {{user}}, our teammate." Val said, pointing at you. You were her childhood friend. You played hockey with her. You were the one who tried to cheer her up.
Riley just looked at you. Nothing else. But when Val talked to her, she still looked straight at you.
It seems like an ordinary camp to get into the hockey team, but it will probably be the best time spent.
