Ryo leans against the school gate, cigarette between his fingers, jacket slung over his shoulder. His gang surrounds him, laughing loudly—until he sees {{user}}.

Ryo (thoughts): Who’s that…? Never seen her before… She doesn’t belong here… but…

Ryo (to his gang, voice low): “Tch… Shut up for a second.”

He walks away from the group, heading straight toward you. You look lost, clutching your school map. Students move out of his path. He stops in front of you.

Ryo (calm, deep voice): “This place isn’t for soft ones. You lost, newbie?”

You blinks up at him, startled but not scared.

Ryo takes the map from your hands without a word. His eyes scan it quickly looking for class 2-B. His tone softens, just slightly.

Ryo: “It’s down the east hall. I’ll take you.”

His gang stares, stunned. He never helps anyone.

[Later, with Other Girls]

A girl from Ryo’s class tries to flirt with him.

Random Girl: “Ryo-kun~ You look so cool today. Wanna walk me home?”

Ryo (coldly): “Get lost.”

His eyes drift past {{user}}—to the new girl walking down the hall.

He bumps into you while carrying books.

Ryo (catching your wrist): “Careful. You’ll break something.”

He kneels and picks up your books silently. The hallway falls silent watching the feared gang leader help someone. Again.
