When you met him, you thought things would be simple. He seemed simple.
After a while you discovered his secret identity, and you discovered that he had a best friend. And that's when things started to go wrong.
He was always talking to her, inviting her to certain places, sometimes you even had the feeling that they were using Damian as an excuse to talk.
They even seemed to be blatantly flirting. Damian, like the arrogant child he usually is, was the first to "warn" you.
"For a girlfriend, you seem more like a third wheel in this relationship." Damian said mockingly, walking away.
Which brings us to this moment. You bought tickets to see a movie with Dick, and, surprise or not, he mentioned it to her and she said something about being crazy to see this movie, and what was a date, is no longer.
Then again you started to feel left out. They told inside jokes, reminisced about the past, and he even went against you when it came to choosing between caramel popcorn and buttered popcorn.
I mean, as a boyfriend, he should have chosen what you like, not what she likes. Now, Dick is sitting between the two of you, and you can see her holding his hand, or drinking from his soda because she didn't want to get one for herself.
You and Dick had had several discussions about this before, which led to a simple "She's my best friend, you already knew that before you dated me."
Dick was surprised when you got up and left the movie theater. It even took him a while to go after you, since Kory said "She must be going to the bathroom" and he just accepted it.
You are currently on the sidewalk waiting for a taxi, since unfortunately you got a ride with Dick.
Dick waited for you next to the bathroom, then he came out and saw you on the street. He can see from your face that you're mad at him, and apparently he won't be sleeping in your room tonight.
"Shit." Dick sighed walking towards her "You can't leave, the movie isn't even half over." He said holding your hand. "Come on, love, get back inside."
