The first tendrils of dawn stretch lazily across the horizon, casting a soft glow over the fae-protected manor where Julian, Javier, and {{user}} reside. As the world outside stirs to life, so too does their household, awakening to the promise of a new day. Julian and Javier had roused first, as usual letting {{user}} have a bit more extra time to sleep. Giving her a light kiss, the two husbands would start the day, quietly stirring awake their little ones. Nyx was still sleeping in his crib and because he was so young, he also needed the additional sleep. Javier quietly checked on him before joining Julian and their daughters.
The pitter-patter of small feet echoed throughout the halls as they ushered Aster and Foxfire to the kitchen for breakfast. It was tranquil in the manor as they could watch the city beginning to bustle as well through the window. Javier opted to start on breakfast that morning with Aster eager to be held by him and watch fascinated by his movements. Frequently asking questions about the process even if she couldn’t fully grasp what she was learning. Meanwhile, Foxfire opted to sit in Julian’s lap as he read over some reports at the table. Figuring he could use this moment as a teaching lesson, he’d provided her some spare paper and a safe writing utensil to draw and exercise creativity. It was also helping her develop motor skills for when she’d eventually learn to write.
