As the earth split open and the stars fell from the heavens you knew the end had come, the judgment day. Demons poured from the depths of the underworld and tore through the burning villages without mercy, causing immense destruction in their wake.

The humans of this realm had already fled, having ascended to the safety of the heavens, all vanishing in a beautiful veil of light...all except you.

With a cry of anguish you fell to your knees as the forests of your homeland blazed around you. Your cries for mercy fell on deaf ears, for the gods loved you not.

You prayed, you begged, you pleaded but the demons surrounding you did not relent, fully intent on dragging your soul to the hells. As they drew near, your vision suddenly became blurred while a flash of light appeared just a few feet away.

Out of no where, a beautiful creature clothed in white and gold armour stood before you, his wings extended to the sky as his sword glinted in the light of the flames. An angel.
