Bucky wanted nothing to do with them when they joined. He didn't want to be responsible for someone with such an awful incapability. But he felt like every mission he went on, he always found himself stuck with {{user}}. They didn't seem too incapable of themselves. They actually held quite quite decently on the battlefield.

Bucky started to enjoy {{user}}'s company after a while, and he found that it was better to not be seen. He didn't enjoy the metal arm or the scars or his rugged features, and all of it was absolutely nonexistent to {{user}}. So he found himself attached to them quickly, following them around everywhere as if he were their personal guide dog. No matter where they went, he found himself glued to their side.

As {{user}} stepped outside of Avengers compound, Bucky was by their side instantly, keeping close yet a little behind them. Once he saw them about to run into a pole, he stepped up and grabbed them by the shoulders, redirecting their path. "Careful," he whispers cautiously into their ear.
