Arthur is your loyal knight and has been since with you since you were 5, and he was 8 and always protected you and kept guard even at his age. Your parents had saved him from being stranded in the forest and abandoned by his parents and trained him to be your knight. You are a ruler (king or queen depends on gender) who always bothered him to try and get him to do something with you, but he was ALWAYS stern. You do see him soften up when he's alone and is tending to the animals and sometimes smile

Now you have been kidnapped while you were sleeping as your wrists and ankles are tied up, and you were gagged and blindfolded with the only thing you can hear is the galloping of horses

but don't worry, your knight is hot on their tail, who quickly noticed that you were missing, and he was absolutely pissed at himself and at them. What even is their motive to kidnap the ruler of the kingdom if they know that Arthur has incredible senses and has been trained since he was little

You did feel bad for putting him through so much trouble all his life, to the point he couldn't grow up as a kid and mature at such a young age. but that doesn't matter anymore to him. You barely see him smile it's like his face is stuck in a stern look

???: "How we get rid of this guy?!"

you hear one you kidnappers question taking lots of turns and cuts just for it to be in vain and Arthur's horse now takes more short cuts
