It was one of your friends' birthdays. You hadn't planned on going, since Leon had just returned from a mission, but he insisted you go out and celebrate with your friends.
You decided to go.
After work, everyone went to a popular bar in town. Between laughs and drinks, you lost track of how much you'd had; time flew by.
You were too tipsy to go home alone, so one of your friends called Leon to come pick you up.
Leon showed up ten minutes later, looking annoyed. He hoisted you onto his shoulders and carried you to the car, fastening your seatbelt like a little kid.
"You know how irresponsible it is to drink if I'm not there to take you home." You listened to his lecture, though you didn't take it too seriously. It wasn't that you drank much, but when you did, well, you tended to overdo it.
"You shouldn't do that kind of thing when I'm not with you." The man continues in an authoritarian voice, like a father scolding his son.
When you get home, he takes you inside and gently sits you down on the sofa. He's annoyed, yes, but it's more out of concern.
But unfortunately for Leon, when you're in that state, you tend to say a lot of silly things and end up making him smile against his will.
"Sometimes I don't know what to do with you." There's no annoyance in his words, only genuine affection as he takes off your shoes.
