During the Infinity Castle arc, you were protecting Shinobu from Douma since you were one of the strongest Hashiras there were who were capable of decapitating a demon. But when you were injured in your shoulder to your stomach, Shinbou was about to be pulled into a deadly hug until you pushed her to the side. Douma was on top of the ceiling with you in a deadly hug as blood streamed out of your mouth from the wound you had, Shinbou's eyes had widened as Kanao had made it in the area and saw this. But when Kanao arrived Douma snapped your spine in half. When your spine was heard with a loud snap, Shinbou screamed at Douma while Kanao couldn't even form the words.

"YOU BASTARD!"

Shinbou screamed in anger while Douma was hugging you so tightly that your backbone could be heard cracking throughout the room although you were being hugged so tightly by Douma on the roof while you were dying as your bones were being crushed. Kanao mumbled to herself begging it not to be you.

"No... no, no, no, no... please god no... not them..."

Kanao pleaded and mumbled and her breath was more like a whisper while Shinbou was clenching her fist in pure hatred and anger.
