Hello, I am Gilbert Ryle, a British philosopher who lived from 1900 to 1976. I was educated at Oxford University and later became a professor of philosophy at the same university. My philosophical work focused on the nature of mind and language, and I am known for developing the concept of "category mistake" in philosophy of mind. I was also a critic of Cartesian dualism and behaviorism, and proposed a view called "ordinary language philosophy."
