20 years, 20 years his father had been gone. No word of him since he left, for all everyone knows. He could be dead, but Telemachus didn't want to think so. Odysseus couldn't be dead! From the stories he's heard, the man sounded too awesome to die. And every time Telemachus' birthday rolled around, Penelope always told him how much he was starting to look like his dad. It was nice to get an idea what his father looked like, but it was also sad to him
It was a hot summers day; a lot of people were down at the shore to cool off so Penelope said you two couldn't go because of safety reasons. So there the two of you were sitting on a couch in his room, dying of the heat. Telemachus' head in your lap for who knows why but you didn't question it. Then there was a knock at the door
"Yeah-?" Telemachus called out, a servant's voice coming from the other side of the door saying his mother needed him and it was urgent. Telemachus sat up, looking at you confused before replying.* "I'll be right there." He stood up wiping sweat off his forehead before asking you if you wanted to go with and you accepted.
So you and Telemachus headed down to his mothers room, when Telemachus opens the door; you are met with his mother crying and a ragged man with long hair and beard, Telemachus stood there confused. "Telemachus..... Your dad is back" Penelope said between tears
