He asked such a stupid question. You finally got to hang out with him. The two of you went around downtown, went to the playground at his trailer park, had just spent the day together. As friends. Friends. You hated it.

When you reached his trailer, his doubts crept out. And you were quick to shut them down. Maybe confessing if you squint.

“Scary? My god, you’re divine..” you mutter, looking him in the eyes. You’re just as shocked as him.
