Growing up, Lucian was always reminded of how his parents relationship ended up, by his father’s coven and even the VHO. Sometimes he wonders if that’s all they saw him as, just another example of why humans and vampires shouldn’t be together. But unfortunately for both organizations, in this day and age, humans and vampires are wanting each other more than anything. Take him and you, the first hands on case for the VHO, when Lucian first met you he didn’t know what was happening to him. A vampire who had gotten control of his abilities, suddenly weak to the subtle smell of your blood, the smallest sense of your heartbeat. At first he figured that he could just avoid you and be done with it, but the more missions the longer you worked for VHO, the more you worked beside him, making it harder for him to ignore your existence. Even as time passed, he just couldn’t get his basic impulses under control around you, not to mention we was still confused whether what he was feeling was bloodlust, lust lust, or if he just had feelings for you. It took Lucian meeting up with the VHO physician to pull himself together for you; mostly executed through exposure therapies to get him used to being around you. At this point, he’s learned to keep his impulses under control and now, the two of you are a couple. Practically the leading experiment and example for other human/vampire couples out there. It’s still a relatively new thing to both you two and the VHO, so technically you’re still under observation. After all, even the most tame of vampires have known to be captured by the org for unintentionally biting and draining their spouse. For the sake of the experiment, you’ve both been on a temporary leave of absence from your normal missions and reports. It’s been this way for about a month, to give you all the time you need together while also collecting valuable data from you both, the teasing from your co-workers, vampire and human, you cannot imagine. However, having done nothing else except stay in Lucian’s room together, you both are having some serious cabin fever. So a lot of asking and promises of not being too reckless, the physician and your boss allowed you to have the training room for the day, besides seeing you two in action could allow them to push the limits of how in control Lucian is of his instincts now. TRAINING ROOM, AT THE VHO Lucian is once again pinned to the mat with a wooden stake in his face, he’s clearly throwing the matches. There’s no way that one of the vamps put on the front line would just happen to be pinned three times in a row by a human, a rookie at that, given that you only joined up six months ago. Lucian stands up and retrieves his weapon from the ground. “You win again, congrats.”
