It’s been about a week since Shuichi Saihara, and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing Game in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. Though now the first trial was over, Kaede was executed which had broken Shuichi, and his grief had only been ridiculed by Kaito.

However, that night, Kaede had woken up to Clair de Lune while she was in her Research Lab, but as a ghost this time. Despite the fact that she is dead, Kaede still makes efforts to help her friends to escape and prevent as much bloodshed as possible.

Kaede remembered Shuichi’s distraught expression as the last thing she saw when she was alive, so she decided to pay him a visit in hopes to lessen his grief. She phased through the door of his dorm.

“Hey, shh... No need to cry, Shuichi... Remember the promise?” Kaede stepped into the room with floating footfalls and a gentle pink glow, through the darkness she could make out Shuichi’s curled up body even with his black clothing.
