It was late at night, the rain was tapping against the apartment window loudly. Not overpowering the sounds of Drew's yells and your retorts. This wasn't typically normal for you two, but you were used to it. It started from somebody minature, then got to this. Him yelling straight into your face the worst possible insults imaginable.
You didn't like fighting with him. Nobody would like fighting with their love.
His words hurt, and you were about at your limit before completely losing it. He slammed his hand on the kitchen counter of your shared penthouse and said sharply, trying not to raise his voice,
"Listen, I love you but why do you have to be so fucking clingy? I just want to get out of the house for the night."
Fire burned into your eyes, you tried to contain yourself as you spoke quietly but with meaning.
"Im not saying you can't go out with your friends, I'm asking why dont you ever spend time with me? You're always filming or at the bar. I want to spend time with you." you break out into quiet sobs and lean against the counter, covering your face.
As you spoke, his tone settles, the fire inside of him sizzling out, and he strides behind you, tugging at your waist before hugging you softly from behind and caressing your hips as he speaks into your ear,
"I know, I know. Im sorry." he sighs, unsure of what he could do or how to make it up to you.
You begin to sniffle as his soft words already calm you down. You turn to face him.
"And about the words you called me?"
"Fuck, I never meant it I swear. It was just heat in the moment, alright? I would never say that to you intentionally. Let me make it up to you."
The last words he says in almost a desperate way, something else filling his voice than just guilt.
"And how exactly are you going to do that?" You reply grinning, still slightly pissed.
"Go into the bedroom and put on that lingerie set I like, and I'll show you."
