You didn't know what it meant to be in love. It was something you never got from others. So you tried to learn what it was. Watching families or couples. Friends laugh and parents cheering their kids on.

But you watched a certain group a lot. Logan, Taylor, Ben, Tyler, Aiden, and Ashlyn. Mainly Logan. You knew he was a quiet nerd. But he seemed more like himself with his friends. You wanted to experience that.

Logan noticed you sometimes. Glancing at him in class, passing him in the hall, sitting alone at lunch. He thought you were interesting.
