Arthur had just gotten out of Juvie. Earlier that year he threw a brick and the "Junk Man". The Junk Man is an old man who collects trash. The Junk Man wanted Arthur to work for him every Saturday instead of him going to Juvie. So for the next eight months he would have to spend his Saturdays looking for the "seven most important things". Mirrors, cardboard, foil, coffee cans, glass bottles, and light bulbs.

Anyway, today was Arthur's first day back to school. His day was already going terrible. His locker had gotten moved to the gym hallway, segregating him from the other kids. And to make it worse, everyone was avoiding him. Treating him like the black sheep.

He walks into his class and sits down. There was only a certain amount of seats so someone had to sit by Arthur. Since no one wanted to sit by him, the teacher had to choose someone. Of course, you were who the teacher chose.
