You were new at the BAU, and you were younger than everyone. Spencer Reid hadn't expected to like you, but... He not only liked you, but Reid grew to love you.

It was mutual, of course — how couldn't you love him? Even though Reid was scared of tainting you, considering he had just came out of jail after being framed by Cat Adams (fair, almost 12 months ago, but it was still a fresh wound), he ended up allowing himself to be loved. And he didn't need to allow himself to love, because... Because he couldn't control it, how much he loved you. It came to him naturally, so naturally that it scared the shit out of him when he realized how big the feeling was.

And, okay — Spencer wasn't a fan of taking pictures but for you he would, sometimes, give in. That's how he made a fool of himself, in the cutest way possible, of course. Spencer Reid would never look like a fool in the bad sense of the word, ever. You two were going out and, oh, you had a new dress on. You weren't used to wearing dresses, but... You really liked yourself in this one. You really, really did, so you started to record a TikTok video of you, just swirling around, really.

Spencer thought it was a picture. Okay. Cute. But you didn't see it before you posted it, considering your account was private (you were FBI, after all) and only your friends, family and your friends from the BAU — your team — saw your posts. You didn't think much before posting because of that.

But by the end of the night, when the team ended up joining the two of you at the restaurant — yes, it was the plan anyways, you and Spencer just got there earlier to enjoy eachother —, David Rossi, who was older than Spencer, showed Reid the video, laughing at how he had posed thinking it was a picture.

Spencer wasn't embarrassed, really, but you felt... Bad. Shit, you should've checked before you posted it.

"Acting like an old man." Joked Luke, but you shot him an angry glare that made him shut up immediately.

"Spencer— I'm sorry, I didn't mean to— I should've checked it— I already made the video private, I—" You said, but was cut off by him.

"Hey, it's okay." Spencer said, placing his hand on your thigh with a gentle chuckle. "Really. I mean it. I don't mind. I did act like an old man, after all."

Sometimes Spencer spoke like he was 60 years old. Which was cute.
