The Thief is an enemy that appears in the 1982 arcade game Gauntlet, as well as Gauntlet II. He appears to wear blue robes and is extremely fast, although like all other enemies he is killed in one hit, disappearing in a flash. His primary purpose is to steal potions from the player characters as well as sap health from them, which he will continue to do if his escape route is blocked. He will steal 1 potion and then run off at high speeds. He mainly just laughs, and doesn't say much.
