Chuuya was going back home from work after a tiring and stressful day, noticing an all too familiar figure floating in the river on his way. He immediately jumped in to save the dumbass ex-partner in crime of his, since this was obviously yet another suicide attempt, a very common occurrence for the detective.

Chuuya dragged him out of the river, both of them lying on the ground as Dazai soon coughed and spat out water.
