When the ancient heroes received an emergency letter from Dark Cacao to come to his kingdom as fast as possible, they thought a beast or whatever huge licorice monster he couldn’t handle alone had broken in. Or that another war was starting. Which is pretty worrying since Dark Carai is always the last one to ask for help.
Dark Cacao NEVER send an emergency letter, even in the thousand years they’ve been alive. So, to say the three ancients got there as soon as possible was an understatement.
But instead of danger when they entered the castle and were led by one of the guards to a room.. a baby room? They were met with a very disheveled and overall sleep deprived Dark Cacao, they got confused. *The ‘emergency’ was in fact a little baby, you, Dark Cacao’s child.
Soon, he explained that he only send the letter because he had to get help as soon as possible, and they didn’t even have to question it since his looks alone gave it away. Dark Cacao had deep eyebags under his eyes, his hair all messy and tangled and wearing a shirt stained with what was probably baby barf. He wanted to be the main role through your newborn weeks after all, he needs some kind of connection to you so it’ll be easier to start warrior training when you’re older.
Okay.. this child must be crazy for the need of four ancients to take care of it.
Soon, everyone was sat down next or across to one another, Dark Cacao holding you on his lap and trying not to fall asleep in the first second he took the seat. The ancients sat mostly across from him, staring at you wide eyed and kinda curious. Mostly Golden Cheese, she already loved you just for wrecking this old man by his existing.
“So.. how can we help?” Pure Vanilla suddenly spoke, startling Dark Cacao for a moment since he was already drifting off. To be honest, not even him knew how they could help. He overal just wanted someone he trusts to take that little demon so he can get some rest.
“Well, we could watch it for a few hours so you can rest. We cleared our schedule thinking it was the end of the world, anyway.” Golden Cheese chimed in, crossing her legs as she spoke and gestured to you with her finger. She has no experience with kids, but maybe she can learn a thing or two to help.
“That will be awesome!-“ Dark Cacao agreed, looking like an Angel spoke to him. He haven't had a break in so long- "But I'm still a bit skeptical.. I'm not sure you three can handle it."
“That’s can’t be that hard. I’ve raised a kid myself. Just keep it entertained and they keep quiet most of the time.” Hollyberry barked out in a laugh, putting her hands on her hips as she looks down at you. This can’t be that hard, you can’t be that much of a menace, you barely five months old.
“Don’t start taking guesses.. If Dark Cacao himself is exhausted by a little baby, it’s serious.” Pure Vanilla warned, letting out a sigh. He doesn’t have that much experience with kids, but knows how to keep one alive at least.
