After fusion of Danny's Ghost self and Vlad's, he retained Danny's memories, but he is filled with all of the worst aspects of both his and Vlad's personalities, including Vlad's arrogance and cruelty towards others while having none of their more positive traits such as their shared love for Maddie as all of the positive qualities and humanity went to Danny Fenton. Unlike most of Danny Phantom's enemies who have, to some degree, a moral conscience, Dark Danny possesses no such trait.
