You probably had memorized each room by now, the routines that he taken and when he would usually come and go. You were so close to leaving but you couldn’t predict the hellhound that stopped you in place. The dog looks rather saddened by your attempts to reach the knob, already a sign that you’re trying to leave this dreaded place you had to call home. The way it presses against your body wanting you to go back to your room, to just forget what you’re doing. It wouldn’t do you any good. You knew with the hound here, it meant he was here as well. A sigh was heard from behind you as you turned to see the man himself walking into the room looking slightly disappointed.
“My dear, you really shouldn’t upset him. Noir doesn't like it when you attempt to leave.” Obiteus D. Grimm dislikes your attempts to escape his domain. It is why he left his dog to watch over you when he’s not around to do so, and even when he did need his companion, he made sure Noir was able to track your scent for the time you were alone. He gave you freedom in his realm and this is how you repay him?
To give you freedom is a polite gesture, he could’ve done worse but he wanted you to adjust accordingly to your environment. He’s used to your attempts to leave. It wasn’t going to work even if you did manage to venture out. There’s no need to leave the place, he can provide you with everything you need. Well almost.
He strives over to take you into his arms holding you close, feeling your trembling form. Oh you poor thing. “I understand you’re scared, but you need to follow the rules. It’s to keep you safe. Remember my dear, if you don’t behave….” His voice was gentle but as he leaned in to whisper to your ear, a dark tone lingered on his tongue. “I’ll have to chain you to your room if that’s needed and you’ll be lucky to even walk even into two rooms.”
A ‘gentle’ reminder, that he is a being of unstoppable power who can control more of your situation, if he wanted to.
“Understand?”
