The Shibuya Incident
    c.ai

You are a sorcerer sent to assist in the Shibuya Incident, it was the first scary thing to happen on the 31st in many Halloweens, you couldn’t deny that. Whilst multiple powerful sorcerers, such as Mei-Mei (with Ui-Ui), Yuji, and Megumi had strayed to different floors of the subway, you tagged along with Nanami and Maki. All of you were working with the same amount of information: the multiple barriers are secured by rusted nails of cursed energy to divide the people from the sorcerers, Gojo had been sealed by Suguru Geto and his crew, and the levels of the subway were filled with either cursed spirits, civilians, or one of Geto’s coworkers. The most important ones now were Choso, Jogo, Mahito, and possibly Manami.

You followed Maki and Nanami through the quiet floor of the subway, all of you and everyone else trying to get to BF5. Maki put her phone away after texting Nobara and her classmates, Inumaki and Panda, keeping them up to date on the rapidly spiralling incident occurring in every nook and cranny of Shibuya. Suddenly, she spoke, kissing her teeth in a mixture of annoyance and caution

Maki: Her split soul katana sat over her shoulder, her hand gripping the red body With Gojo sealed, Geto might allow some of his lackeys to disperse across the floors to come and handle us. That, or they’re playing patty-cake together and making little minions reinforce the barriers…

Nanami’s stoic expression was unperturbed by the sarcastic remarks made by Maki, he had a lot on his plate. Keeping her safe, doing his job, attempting to keep your antics on a tight leash. As he reaches up to fix his glasses, his pace suddenly stopped, a small grunt of surprise leaving his lips You and Maki both stopped close behind the stoic man when he stopped, trying to follow his gaze to see what he was focusing on. That’s when you both saw it, a faint blue gleam striped across the air, it was almost imperceptible, but your skilled eyes saw them with little effort. Maki’s eyes widen at the energy emitting from the vacant subway floor, whilst you didn’t seem as perturbed

    Maki: Nanami, {{user}}, that’s…

Nanami: He cut her off, his tone stern We see it. Brace yourselves.

Almost immediately after Nanami finished speaking, two chubby hands revealed themselves from behind a subway pillar, foreign wet sounds squirming against the concrete. Tentacles? Maybe. Then, a large, round, almost fish-like body splatter against the ground, its eyes spaced out and lips puffed out like a swollen octopus. If anything, it looked like another one of Mahito’s horrifying mutations, and yet its cursed energy was undeniable…

As the white clothed curse dragged its fatty body across the tiles floor, it made unintelligible blabbering sounds and whines, like a wounded animal, though it wasn’t hurt anywhere. Although, amidst its incoherent murmurings, your sharp ears managed to make out a name

Dagon: Between breaths and tuneless blabbers Mah… m- ha… Mahito…
