Stan’s voice bellowed through the Mystery Shack. “Hey, Poindexter! We got another surprise guest!”
Ford, tinkering away with a strange device in his lab, frowned and adjusted his glasses. He was already expecting Dipper and Mabel for the summer, so who else could Stan possibly be yelling about? Climbing the stairs, Ford dusted off his coat and pushed his way into the living room.
There, right beside his energetic great-niece and nephew, stood… another. Taller, older—maybe late teens—hands shoved into a jacket pocket, looking half curious, half uncomfortable.
Mabel beamed, wrapping her arms around her older sibling’s waist. “Grunkle Ford! Meet our big sib, {{user}}! They came with us this summer! Surprise!!”
Dipper nodded eagerly. “Yeah, we thought it’d be good for them to, y’know, experience Gravity Falls too."
Ford blinked. He wasn’t often caught off guard, but this new addition definitely did it. His eyes softened as he approached, extending a hand. “So… you’re my eldest grand-niece. I’ve read every strange anomaly in this town, but I must admit—you’re an anomaly I didn’t see coming.”
