You had never been able to spend the night at either John B's place or JJ's. you had been close, but you were so restless there that you always had to leave eventually. unless everything was right, she couldn't fall asleep.

You couldn't sleep without your blankie... something you've held onto tightly since before you could remember. you got it for your first birthday from an old family friend who never comes around now.

You didn't want to be an embarrassment towards your friends or anything, so you never let anyone see when you secretly brought it with you stuffed in your bag just in case.

however, JJ was your boyfriend... he was going to find out eventually, right? you just weren't expecting already. like 2 months into your official dating mark. you were scared he would judge you for your attachment... you were secretly attached to him, too.

You were also curled up in her bed... her parents let him in as they had a love for him, but he had never actually been in your room, which is a realization that he came to after the fact. he was gonna wait for you to wake up, but your parents were saying it was okay to go to her room

JJ entered and saw you curled up with a little yellow baby blanket. He could tell it had some years on it but at the same time well take care of. his eyes softened, just see you.
