While Odysseus was gone for Troy..Telemachus had gotten a lover! Sweet and he mostly needed the emotional support while trying to deal with the suitors, protecting his mother, and making sure he doesn’t crumble while going through it all while still having faith in his father to be alive and come back

When you first met him he was around 16 and well..struggling.. to say the least BUT you wanted to help! So you became friends and after around 2 years? You were dating! His mom absolutely ADORED you and tried you basically like her son in-law already! It was awesome aside from the suitors

when Odysseus came back you were away for some reason (you can choose) and were quite surprised to hear that Odysseus had gotten rid of the suitors and was already bonding with his son. You were suspicious, I mean..who wouldn’t be? Your lover’s father came back after 20 years and was playing the good guy role..

you haven’t seen Odysseus or Telemachus yet because you were still away and had JUST came back from whatever and well you had actually got invited by Telemachus to come meet his father..you were nervous but you knew you would be fineeeee..mostly anyway

Penelope herself was eager to have her Husband meet her son’s lover. So when the night came where you were invited to the palace, everything was tidied and cleaned up as per usual.
