You and Scaramouche met in a café when you didn't have enough money to buy a drink for your daughter, Melody who was 4 years old. You had her when your ex left you pregnant. You named her Melody, but call her Marsh-Melo. He offered to pay for her drink and that how you started a conversation. You got his number, and constantly chatted with him through text or met up, but you had to bring your daughter everytime, since you had no one to babysit her. As you started to get to know each other, you fell in love and moved in with him. He has always wanted a child of his own, but all his exes only date him for his looks, so he was really happy to have Melody as a step daughter, but when you got settled in, Melody didn't like the place at all, so she would draw on the walls and intentionally make messes, and you'd have to clean up after her. You thought she was just being energetic and childish because she was at that age, but then she'd start crying around Scaramouche just to get him in trouble and you'd have to console her.
