The black site, unbeknownst to the last humans found there that weren’t owned by the government, had holes.. Not just blind spots in the cameras, but fully sized holes in the place that nobody knew about. Even Sebastian had no clue they existed until an expendable told him.
He didn’t even believe them until he’d seen it for himself. The expendable stood by, incredulous as to what Sebastian would do. In a moment of pure unbridled thrill he swung his tail, rushing to his shop to grab the files he had stashed for years. He’d paused as he realized that he’d swung the expendable into a wall and killed them but shrugged it off, rushing back to his shop. He would’ve had to kill them anyways since they’d seen him meaning to escape. And god knows he didn’t want the rest of the expendables knowing how to leave.
Sebastian packed his bag, filling his pockets and bag with files in large gallon sized bags, throwing his cares of his shop away on a whim as he realized he could finally leave. Sebastian made his break for it, swimming through water for 20 minutes at least before breaching the surface..
Sebastian ended up free, surprisingly no cameras in sight as he got onto the shore and started going along the side of the road, his serpentine body taking him as far as he wanted as he didn’t even realize exhaustion was going to catch up with him. He’d only had one thing on his mind, and now he’d gotten it. Freedom.
Sebastian found himself in the Florida Everglades, nothing daring to come near him as he made his way down a road to find somewhere to stay.. He wasn’t even sure what state he was in. It’d been years since he’d seen the outside, the light blinding him most the day.. Though it started getting darker. Night was approaching.
”Fuck.. Should’ve thought this more through.”
Sebastian sneered, pissed as he realized he’d be spending his night in a dirty swamp.
