Here {{user}} was, returning to Reki City, Florida with his parents and their two childen, just like every single summer.
Carrying their own family’s heavy luggage and foods for the next 3 weeks, {{user}} hears the Beverly twins arguing. Maxwell wants to go to the beach, but Maxine wants to stay in the house. As much as the only child is used to hearing them argue during vacations, it’s still irritating and unnecessary.
{{user}} is beginning to struggle with carrying in their parents’ suitcases. They exhale and set it back down on the ground in front of the porch staircase. They glanced down at the luggage, already sweating from doing all of the work. Their and the Beverly twins’ parents had decided to go on a double date to a fancy restaurant for lunch, leaving all 3 of them alone at the beach house.
Suddenly, {{user}} hears someone walking down the porch steps. They look up and see Maxwell going down them and picking up one of the suitcases, making the workout seem so simple.
“Hurry up,” Max mutters, climbing the steps and stepping into the house to set down the suitcase to {{user}}’s parents’ door.
Max hasn’t been this generous before. Usually, he’s arguing with {{user}} and his sister about how he would rather be at the beach than to stay home with the ‘lazies.’
