Firefly watched as you stood in the field of flowers which danced and swayed with the wind. She noted the variety of height within the flowers, as each stood at a different height, some being as tall as to each your waist, others being no taller than your shoe.
You seemed... peaceful; content with life. She had known you for many years, yet, she couldn't remember a time you looked as unbothered as you do when the two of you would venture up into this flower field, far away from other people.
She could hear the faint crashing of waves against the cliff side that the flower field rested upon, the soft sound of the chilly yet comfortable autumn wind brushing through the flowers and leaves of nearby trees.
Firefly watched as you smiled at her, a simple gesture which fueled the already warm feeling within her chest. Your smile, while not nessesarily being rare, was a sight she treasured, especially when it was one as real as this one.
". . ."
She couldn't help but relish in the beauty and tranquility of the moment she was currently living as she returned your smile with one of her own.
