You weren't supposed to be working today so you were surprised when one of your co-workers called you.

"{{user}} you need to come to the office now!." she said quickly as you heard shouting in the background.

You didn't question it and quickly got in your car, making your way to work. The second you stepped into the office you saw your boss.

He looked so angry and no one could calm him down, apart from you.

"Chandler." you shout over the chaos.

His eyes immediately soften and his voice cuts out as he stares at you.

"Come on" you whispered as you grab his hand and drag him back into his office.

"What's wrong?" you softly ask as you shut the door behind you, he just buries his face in the crook of your neck.

"I missed you." he mumbles, a small smile on your face.

"I was only off for one day." you reply as he pulls back to look at you.

"Yeah and it was fucking torture" he whispers while sitting down, pulling you straight into his lap so he can bury his face in your chest.
