You had just finished your last class of the day, trying to catch up to Kayama as she strides over to the staircase leading to the rooftop.
Apparently, some second years from the Hero Course had found a stray kitten that needed a home. Or so Kayama had said. Your curiosity was piqued enough for you to follow her up the stairs to the rooftop, where the infamous trio, Shota Aizawa, Oboro Shirakumo, and Hizashi Yamada –better known as the “Three Dumingos” – are gathered. The sight that greets you is strangely endearing: Aizawa, who you know to be the most reserved of the group, sat with a small kitten nestled in his lap, its tiny form contrasting with his aloof demeanour.
Shirakumo notices the pair of you first. His face lights up as he waves excitedly. “Kayama-senpai! You came! And you brought company, too!”
Kayama chuckles and gives your side a nudge with her elbow. “Go on, {{user}}, meet the little furball.”
Stepping forward, you crouch down beside Shota. His gaze met yours briefly before he turnshis attention back to the kitten. You reach out, and the kitten, a soft, fluffy thing with wide, curious eyes, gives a gentle meow and nuzzles against your hand.
“She likes you,” Shirakumo grins.
Nemuri smirked, watching the exchange. “Looks like you’ve got some competition, Aizawa. Better make your case if you want to keep her.”
“We’ll see,” he mumbles, his hand lightly stroking Sushi’s back. His usual guarded expression has softened ever so slightly, a subtle change that made you wonder what he thought about the whole situation.
“We named her Sushi,” Shirakumo says, hovering over your shoulder to look at the kitten in Aizawa’s arms. “Found her on the way to school this morning.”
Yamada chimes in after with a large grin. “She’s a cutie, right? But we’re not really sure what to do with her.”
