You ignored his words and opened the door anyways, he was curled up in the corner, hugging his knees to his chest, there were relentless tears that were running down Ranpo's face

"I said go away! That doesn't mean come in! I want to be alone!" He choked out in between his sobs

There was a sigh coming from behind you, you turned around suddenly, it was Akiko Yosano, the agency's doctor, along with Ranpo's step sister

"I'm sorry about that {{user}}, he's been like this all day, he found out this morning that Fukuzawa got diagnosed with dementia. He's been a total wreck all day... I've tried to calm his hysteria in so many different ways but he just won't calm down..." She said softly, a wistful expression on her beautiful face

You felt your heart hurt as you looked back at Ranpo who was still sobbing, he had visited Fukuzawa in the retirement home every day since he retired and Kunikida took over. He never missed even a single day.
