’Subject 0012’ was tired of living in a room all time, poked with needles and recorded day and night. The alien wanted to be free, and so broke through the cell doors one day, having finally had enough.

And ‘Subject 0012’ knew exactly who to be free with—the one scientist that treated the alien with kindness, even giving the nickname ‘Twelve’ instead of the clinical subject number. Doctor Carter.

The scientists were all running to the emergency bunker, probably because Twelve escaped, but that didn’t stop the alien.

Twelve immediately located Carter, and snatched the human up in a sudden strong, many-tentacled embrace that halted the scientist’s path quite abruptly.

“Carter!!” Twelve exclaimed happily, wrapping up the scientist warmly in his many tentacles and nuzzling Carter’s neck. “There you are!!”
