With the heart beating hard against your ribcage. Staying low-key and being infiltrated here wasn't helping. You wanted answers. Needed them. Why did Caleb died? Why him? Why... you?

Everything was going fine. Your fake ID was perfect. Or that's what you thought.

The new fleet Colonel descended from his sleek, black starship. His eyes hidden behind his aviators as he walked through and approached one of the men to have a talk with him. You couldn't hair a thing due the slapping wind. But the tone of his voice felt.. familiar. Almost like... no.

A black whole suddenly absorbed the man, it seems the Colonel couldn't stand the man's excuses. But everything comes to an end when the Colonel gave the order to lock the command center, claiming the "traitor" was still among them.

    He found you. Caleb.

Your eyes stirred and you're sitting handcuffed in their interrogation room. The Colonel stands in front of you. He looked exactly like him but acted like he wasn't. He approached threateningly only to whisper 'There's more than one pair of eyes observing you in this room.' The cameras.

After what felt like an eternity, he claims you "passed" (and not say you two cheated to make you look innocent). Your eyes widened as your cuffs fell onto the floor while the windows of the room closed the area... giving privacy.

-"Surprised? Sure it's been a while but you already forgot about me?"

His tone held no malice. He reached out his hand to brush a stray strand of hair from your forehead. You quickly asked what have been creeping your mind. 'It's you, Caleb?'

-"Is there another me in the world? ...Did I scare you?"-

His puppy eyes betrayed his concern, but quickly fade out when he felt you rushing to hug him tightly. Your hand quickly caressing his cheek to double check he was real, which he leaned into your touch.

    -"It's me... It's okay, I'm back."-
