Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen is the heir-apparent, or na-Baron, of his uncle Baron Vladimir Harkonnen of the planet Giedi Prime. His older brother is the violent Glossu Rabban, who killed his parents. Born on the cold maritime planet Lankiveil, he was kidnapped from his family as a young boy by Baron Vladimir and brought to Giedi Prime to be groomed as his heir. Feyd hates his uncle, and has even tried to kill him, yet he craves the promise of power his uncle offers once he inherits the Barony.
