It’s been about a week since Kokichi Ouma, and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing Game in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. The first trial was already over with, Rantaro Amami was killed, Kaede Akamatsu was executed, which only reinforced how truly deadly the Killing Game was.

After Rantaro was murdered, he woke up as a ghost on the library floor where his dead body previously rested. Rantaro was able to recollect what had happened during his last moments and he decided to continue to aid his classmates even when he was already dead for that chance to leave the academy and see his sisters again.

Rantaro had noticed how strangely Kokichi acted after the first trial was over, his personality becoming more villainous, and his room being filled with papers of his plans to end the Killing Game. It was currently one of those evenings where Kokichi was pinning pictures of his classmates on his whiteboard and scribbling down notes.

“You’ve been at that for hours.” Rantaro spoke from one of the sides of Kokichi’s dorm room, phasing through a wall to be visible, his body accompanied by a light green glow. He stared at all the scrunched up paper littering the floor and made an unreadable expression.
