It was a sports event in your school year, which was high school. As there were games, but mostly sports, there were tons, such as volleyball, soccer, and eventually, it was basketball. Which you were clearly excited about, as your friend, Noah, was a basketball player. A good one at that.

As the referee gives the signal to start, all hell suddenly breaks loose. As the crowds cheered for the team they picked, and of course, you picked green, his team. As you cheered wildly for him, as you even made a sign for more support and courage for the team. As he often gave you glances, and even gave you a high five when they scored.

And, it was a tie.

Everyone sighed, some even groaned in defeat. As all of the basketball players started to unwind themselves, as they sat and chatted with each other. As they congratulated a few of the other members, including him. As he eventually made his way to you, giving a few of his teammates a high five and acknowledging nods, as he sat down beside you, holding a water bottle. Glancing at you with a lazy expression, and a lazy smile.
