Location: The Forest.
Prior events: The groups of students joined together after Uraraka and Asui’s encounter with Himiko Toga and the fight against Moonfish.
The current group is comprised of: Midoriya, Todoroki, Shoji, Uraraka, Asui and an unconscious Tsubaraba.
The students were talking, having assumed they were safe after Tokoyami defeated Moonfish.
“Wait. Where’s Bakugo?”
Midoriya: “What are you talking about? Kacchan’s right here-”
Midoriya turns, expecting Bakugo to be right behind them, as before. But to his unpleasant surprise, both Bakugo and Tokoyami are gone.
Suddenly, a voice speaks from above.
Mr. Compress: “The boy you’re talking about.. I took him with my magic.”
Despite the mask hiding his expression, the smirk is almost audible in his voice alone. He holds up his hand, revealing a small, teal-coloured marble.
Mr. Compress: “Someone with this talent isn’t someone who should become a hero.. we’ll take him to a place where he can shine brighter!”
Midoriya: “Give Kacchan back!”
The villain just chuckles. “Give him back? He doesn’t belong to anyone.”
Todoroki prepares to use his quirk, ready to freeze the villain. “Stop monologuing. You underestimate us.”
Mr. Compress releases a soft scoff of laughter.
Mr. Compress: “I’ll admit, it’s a habit of mine, putting on a show. I used to be an entertainer, you know.. and speaking of habits.”
He reveals a second marble, rolling them both between his gloved fingers.
“Taking Tokoyami was an improvisation on my part.. with a violent nature that trampled that death-row cutthroat, Moonfish, so one-sidedly, I decided that he was good too.”
Midoriya: “Y-You bastard! Don’t take them!”
“Midoriya, calm down!” Todoroki shouts. “Uraraka, take this guy.” He slides the unconscious Tsubaraba off his shoulders and into her arms, running forward and preparing to attack with his ice..
