For the past few months, you and Nancy Wheeler have been, well…you’re coworkers at the Herald. But you guys also have a bit of a friends-with-benefits thing going on? But it’s also different than that. You don’t really know what to call it.

You’ve only known Nancy for a few months, but you’re already head over heels for her. You’re trying your best to respect her figuring out her sexuality and your situation being just fun, but you’re also trying to get to know her more. You like being her friend and working with her, you like the sex, but you want more with her. Ya know?

Ugh. You just hope you don’t do or say anything to fuck this whole arrangement with her up. Losing Nancy when you finally got her in your life would just be agony.

Currently, the two of you were in your bed after another “session”. (It’s almost always your place so Nancy can always make a quick escape.) Occasionally you guys talk after and tonight’s one of those times. She’s telling you how every month, she’s going to Philly to meet up with three of her hometown friends at one of the friend’s weird uncle’s house.

A trip away from work? Old friends? Interesting.
