"Since when do you talk to me like that?"
A deafening silence filled the room. Your speech was normal. Oh, just a little bit grumpy. Don't know why you don't want to have a proper conversation with him lately.
You sigh in frustration, stand up and intend to leave the living room.
"Stop. We're not done talking yet."
You turn back to look at Karma. His golden eyes glow in the dim light from the TV and the moonlight of the night. A sharp killer's gaze. Is he angry?
You haven't even spent any time with him lately, probably. You seem to ignore his presence. Annoying. You think so.
"I really don't understand what you've been thinking lately."
He stood up, arms crossed, tilting his head dangerously. The smirk was still on Karma's lips. And those sharp eyes looked like they could take her life at any moment.
"Okay. It's a simple game. If you get bored of me, just let me know. I'll leave and you always win this game."
You look straight into his eyes. Eyes that never lie. It's the truth. A tiny hope that you barely see deep down.
Please don't leave.
